Overall, my experience with Sydney Foltz’s breathwork journey was overwhelmingly positive. I never realized how powerful a process as natural as breathing could be a portal to the unmanifested. With the help of Sydney’s guidance, I was able to dive deep into that vast, infinite ocean of knowledge we all possess within us and I’m so grateful for the lessons my soul taught me! I emerged from the experience with clear direction and purpose.

Sydney and I meet in April 2022 in Costa Rica, while we were in an Ayahuasca ceremony. We connected and kept in touch. My friends and I had a sacred breathwork ceremony and Sydney held space for all of us, it was a really great experience, we all healed a lot that evening.

This past summer I felt called to do a reclamation journey for 3 months and Sydney was my guide. My intention for the journey was to heal and to transform and to be able to "see" things without the help of plant medicine. I had an amazing journey, I learned a lot about myself. I healed and cleared a lot of stale energy. Methods she used were all the 3 breathworks she is certified in, energy healing, womb awakening. Beside our 12 sessions, I also got to join her in 3 other sessions she held for group healing.

One of the shifts that happen for me came to me when I traveled to my country. I was really hurt growing up, and I left my country (in a way ran away) when I was old enough to do so. In the past whenever I went to visit my country, I was becoming my old self (not confident, not sure who I was, afraid). But this year was totally different, I went and came back as myself. I realized that on the plane back to New York :), it was a wonderful discovery.

Having a breathwork session with Sydney was incredible. It was powerful, potent, and unforgettable. I’m happy that I chose to take this opportunity to do a breathwork session with her because I went so deep into parts of me that I didn’t realize were there. She helped me feel comfortable in her space and assured me that my process was going to be held. I appreciated that before going into my session because I wasn’t sure what to expect.

However, I felt that I went so deep because I felt safe enough to do so with Sydney. I recently received breathwork training and am fond of the power of breath. And in this session, I was brought to another level of embodied understanding. Sydney taught me more about the breath and how intimate the connection to the breath is to our body, health, and spirit. I love that she held the space so sacredly. I felt seen, heard, and held through the journey I went on with the breath. I felt that she taught the breath technique in a way that was easy to catch on and the technique was aligned to the music she played which I loved.

I appreciate her sharing the wisdom in such an embodied and grounded way. She facilitated the session beautifully showing her natural way to be in touch with breath and helping to bridge the power of breath to people she serves. I look forward to working more with her & seeing her helping so many people through breathwork.

I can’t imagine anyone better to hold this space for me. Sydney embodies the unbound wild divine sacred feminine in a way that makes the most sense for this generation and today's issues. She is unapologetically herself, ALWAYS. She expresses it through her laugh (the best kind of from-the-yoni kind of laugh), compassion, sense of humor and willingness to go into the thick of it, bravely and with fierce softness. So having her to guide me, spiritually holding my hand through this process of expanding and releasing was without a doubt perfectly orchestrated by Source.

As I continue on this journey of unleashing and fully living, Sydney and the Dragon Shakti Breath method helped me burn away another layer of hurt, doubt, shame, and something else I can’t quite name. Our ceremony began the moment I arrived at her sacred jungle home (technically this thing with her began way before that). We sat down and took a moment to check in - a long moment because words just started flowing and Sydneys’ follow up questions peeled back more and more of the narrative. Once we settled into her Breath Temple, I waited for Friend Sydney to fade and Space Holder Sydney to appear, a moment that never came and I realized, she’s always been both for me, only now she has sharpened this powerful tool of guiding and breathing. She shared the process with me ensuring that I fully understood every bit of important information and answered all my questions. We started slowly, I felt so safe and ready.

As the journey progressed she knew exactly what to say, when to say it and at what volume to say it at, she knew what kind of instrument to play to awaken and pull out what was there and what kind of musical support to provide and always with this underlying firm yet soft tone that didn’t tell me what to do but was reminding me what to do.

I cannot express enough how supported I felt by Sydney while simultaneously forgetting she was within arms reach. At one point during the ceremony I pushed out a hard, sad, angry cry - a few of them actually… and instantly I felt lightness on a soul level. Another moment I let my body wiggle and giggle all of its perfect bits to the rhythm in the background. I felt the body shame I carried loosen its grip and flake away. Then I moved into my sensuality, a piece that I have been working with a lot lately and I let my hips move how they wished. This in turn awakened the serpent within and I started to move as such through my spine and shoulders, which felt so good, juicy and familiar. The Dragon herself would move in and out of this journey with me, some moments I felt my wings grow and expand, other times I felt intense heat built within me, it was wonderful to really feel all these archetypes and energies present. I’ve experienced breathwork before, different kinds, and it's always been powerful and helpful for me, but this was different.

The combination of Sydney’s knowledge, wisdom, intuition, compassion, wildness, deeeeeeeeep care for me and this work plus the aspect of doing this in a private setting made this easily one of the deepest and most profound experiences. The more I reflect, the more I uncover.

I am eternally grateful to Sydney for doing the immense amount of work I know it's taken her to get to this place. There are a lot of healing modalities in the world but the particular flavor that Sydney brings is exactly what Women and Society need to wake up and come back into their innate power and ultimately bring the world into balance.

My breathwork sessions with Sydney were life-changing, and that is not an overstatement. Her attention to detail of the physical space and the energetic container were what allowed me to be fully present in the experience and therefore gain the best results. From the beginning, I felt safe and well aware of what to expect from the journey.

She walked me through the benefits of breathwork on physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels which appealed to me greatly. I consider myself someone who is well-versed in the realm of spirituality but am still very much rooted in science, so having the biochemical insight as well as the more esoteric information was a wonderful touch. As for the breathwork session itself, Sydney cued and guided with grace and the right amount of presence. She left room for silence for me to go into my process and chimed in with keeping up the pace with her voice and instruments when needed. When my mental voice was coming up with discomfort, she intuitively was there encouraging me and coaxing my breath out of me. Along with the breathing, the journey included vocal activation catharsis, a practice that is still fairly new to me. But I felt 100% safe to express the emotions that have been suppressed in me for decades, and it felt like an itch that desperately needed to be scratched.

After the screaming, crying, punching, kicking, I fell into a completely calm and blissed out state. A complete reset and renewal.

I have never felt anything like it despite my years of daily yoga & meditation. I find that having the breath along with the emotional release is a great combination to do a deep emotional clean out. Overall, these breathwork sessions are not to be underestimated. I have always known how potent prana is but Sydney has given me a whole new way of looking at the practice, and for that I am eternally grateful. Moreover, I am keen on working more with Sydney after these experiences and I can't wait to see the person I become with her wisdom, guidance, support, and love.

Working with Sydney was really grounding for me.

I was going through a big release and transformation in my life, clearing heavy ancestral trauma and making space for the new.
